Document conversion is used when your file is already digital and editable (e.g., a native PDF) but needs to be transformed into a different format, such as Word or Excel. If your document was scanned or photographed, you need OCR. If it was created digitally, you need conversion.
Multilingual DTP is needed when a translated document must be rebuilt to match the original design – including complex layouts in InDesign, Illustrator, or multi-column formats with RTL or CJK scripts. Document formatting is for simpler tasks: cleaning up an existing Word, Excel, or PowerPoint file, applying consistent styles, or restructuring content. If your project involves translation and layout recreation, choose DTP. If it involves polishing an existing document, choose formatting.
